Lady Luck Animal Rescue, Inc. is a not for profit, 501(c)3, all breed rescue organization based in South Florida.
The dogs and cats brought into LLAR’s care have a variety of backgrounds. Some are surrendered by their owners due to difficult family situations. Others have been severely neglected or make their way to LLAR via Animal Control. Regardless of their past, all the animals that are taken under LLAR’s care have one thing in common - a second chance at a great life!
When LLAR receives a new animal, he or she is immediately given a health screening. Any medical conditions discovered are treated. Each pet is then carefully matched with a family that has filled out an extensive adoption application. After a suitable match is found, the dog or cat is on its way to its new forever home and off to live the pampered life that every pet deserves.
Our Mission Statement
Lady Luck Animal Rescue, Inc., believes it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs and cats, and other domestic animals that may come into our care, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We will work diligently to educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
Lady Luck Animal Rescue offers community service hours for fostering kittens, per below:
- MAX at 2 hours per day Monday-Friday, and 4 hours per day Saturday and Sunday. For a total of 18 hours per week.
- These hours include all vet visits.
- If there is multiple students in the household getting hours, then the hours get split.
- This is for all the kittens/cats in the foster home...so no matter if you have 1 cat or 6 kittens.
- We realize some parents step in and do the errands for the students (vet visits, vaccine days, etc.), so if 18 hours is TOO much, please adjust accordingly to give the students shorter hours, whatever may be fair.
